Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Maternity Unit and Infant Feeding Team

Speak to a member of the maternity/feeding team with 24 hour access for 28 days after the birth of your baby.

0-19 Public Health Nursing Service

Speak to a health visitor or infant feeding support worker on 01226 774411. Phone lines are open Monday to Thursday, 8:45am to 4:45pm, and Friday, 8:45am to 4:15pm.

Support and contact can be adapted to meet your needs, with telephone, text or in person visits available.

Barnsley's Virtual Family Hub is full of useful support and information for children pre-birth to 19 years (25 if the young person has a disability).

Colostrum harvesting, breast and chest feeding workshops

We offer monthly workshops at Breast Screening Reception, Barnsley Hospital.

Antenatal colostrum harvesting, breast and chest feeding workshops are available from 28 weeks' gestation. These workshops are open to you and your partner.
